Dr. Muhammad Zain Akram received his Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology in Beijing, collaborating with the Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research at the University of Louisville in the United States. Dr. Akram began working as a Process Engineer for Kentucky Advanced Materials Manufacturing Company in 2020. He has years of experience working with plasma-based chemical vapor deposition (CVD) techniques to synthesize nanomaterials, thin films, and CVD diamonds.

He also has first-hand knowledge of single crystal and polycrystalline diamond growth and characterization. Muhammad has numerous research articles published in prestigious international journals. Dr. Akram’s research interests include the fabrication of materials and devices and their characterization and testing.
